Harris Simons, Principal
Harris Simons manages new business and strategic initiatives for Simons Real Estate Group in addition to his responsibilities as head of marketing and leasing activities. He also oversees and originates new business relationships for development, acquisition, property leasing, and financing.
Harris is a principal of Simons Real Estate Group, which has managed properties in over thirteen (13) states and currently has substantial management operations in Connecticut and Texas. Harris oversees the company’s Texas management operations in its affiliate, Simons Management Company of Texas, LLC. Recently, Harris brokered a $130 million purchase of a premier Class A apartment portfolio in Texas.
Harris Simons graduated from University of Florida in 1983 with a bachelor of science in Business. He is on the Executive Board of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford. Harris is also on the Board of Directors of the Hillel House for the University of Hartford and Central Connecticut State University.
