Thomas Bergeron, Director of Property Management

Tom Bergeron has served as the Director of Property Management for the Simons Real Estate Group since April, 1990. Mr. Bergeron is directly responsible for the property management functions for all properties in Connecticut. His specific management responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of budgeting, lease administration, financial administration, risk management, maintenance, personnel and long-term financial projections for various properties.

Prior to joining Simons real estate group, Mr. Bergeron served as Assistant Vice President for a Hartford based real estate management firm, and as controller and Assistant Vice President in the property management division of a national real estate firm based in Wallingford, CT. He began his career in public accounting.

Mr. Bergeron graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bryant College in May, 1981. In addition to being a CPA, Tom received the designation of Rea1 Property Administrator and Facilities Management Administrator from the Building Owner and Management Association (BOMA), is a member of BOMA, the National Apartment Association, the Society of Property Professionals, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Connecticut.
